[CIVITATENSIS] Transit Sign Hackers Wreak Havoc Across the Country Blogged under general, federal politics, provincial politics, culture, humour & curiosa, leadership & leaders by kaqchikel on Friday 5 May 2006 at 12:06 pm Toronto hackers got into several Toronto public transit signs, spelling: “Stephen Harper Eats Babies!” Since then, violated signs have appeared in several other Canadian cities, copy-catting the Toronto signs with equally outlandish statements about other public figures that no one could possibly believe: In Calgary: Jim Dinning Eats Nothing but Carrots! In Edmonton: Calgary Flames Eat Quiche!

[Wirelesstoronto.ca] The WT Blog: Overall, a really useful consideration of what the implications of this Wi-Fi network are. There are clearly some very significant economic and social opportunities for the Toronto Hydro network to change the way Toronto delivers services and meets the needs of its citizens. This makes me look forward to hearing more details from Toronto Hydro Telecom in the coming months!

[Calgarygrit.blogspot.com] CalgaryGrit: Paul Martin's Braintrust...: An enterprising blogger paid a visit to Klander's own blog and you'll never guess what he found: A picture of Olivia Chow, the politician, beside a Chow Chow, the canine variety, with the caption, "Separated at birth." Imagine for a moment if that picture and those words had been found on the website of John Reynolds, for example, or Rick Anderson?
[Paulmartintime.ca] Paul Martin Time: Tour Weblog: As a deliberate consequence of the corporate medias ruthless and unsubstantiated attacks on Jack Layton and the NDP (and near total ignorance of the Greens), many Canadians have been wrongly led to believe that the Conservatives are the only option to what is widely seeneven amongst the partys supportersas a corrupt Liberal regime. This is fitting, as Harper is quite likely the only man in Canada who would confer more privilege and prosperity upon the corporate elite than the current top dog in parliament.
