Generation Leadership > THE WORLD today!

1read's Webloghttp://1read.wordpress.com/2008/10/22/the-world-today/ [1read's Weblog] People are tired of McCain’s negativity and bellicose and no faire game manner without a great preformance, and Obama impresses demonstrating statesman capacity, conciliatory qualities, leadership, knowledge and judgement, showing polls that also the final round 3 in debates went by a large margin to Obama, giving CNN 58% to Obama and 33% to McCain, while CBS Poll watch favors Obama with 53%, thinking 22% McCain did a better job. In the only Vice Presidential debate on October 2 according to CNN and CBS News instant poll Biden came out as winner with 51% against 36% for Palin, respectively 46% for Biden to 21% for Palin. McCain’s erratic and unpredictable campaign, impregnated by the Bush Administration’s unpopularity, is running out of time, making people nervous, feeling that the Republican ticket McCain/Palin is not any more a safe choice, and what seems to be their last resource increased the offensive attacks against Obama, as even more voters are inclined to trust the Democratic candidate.

If something did happen, like a Georgia situation like we saw this summer, or, God forbid, a terrorist attack, the image of Obama standing there with Colin Powell and Joe Biden, I think, would be a pretty reassuring image to a lot of people."

One Citizen Speaking...[One Citizen Speaking...] COLIN POWELL: Why I don't agree with his Obama endorsement.: Considering, for a moment, that General Powell is correct in his assessment of Barack Obama (and it is not a point that I am willing to concede at this point in time), the question that I would ask Colin Powell is: did you go beyond the consideration of this individual’s personal abilities and consider the nature of the political party and hyper-partisan leadership of people like Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, John Murtha and others who will become the major influence on our nation - and who can actually do more damage to our nation with their mushy-headed leftists policies than the President of the United States?
