[ScienceBlogs Channel : Politics] Glenn Beck is completely insane : Pharyngula: Critics charge that Kent Hovind's creation/evolution presentations are a mix of Christian Fundamentalism and conspiracy theories.[75] The Southern Poverty Law Center has criticized Hovind because of his selling of books such as Des Griffin's Fourth Reich of the Rich, Peter Kershaw's In Caesar's Grip, and recommending The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, a well-known antisemitic hoax.[81] The Center claimed that Hovind accuses Darwinism of having produced "Communism, Socialism, Nazism, abortion, liberalism and the New Age Movement."[81] The Center also quotes Hovind as claiming that "democracy is evil and contrary to God's law."[81] Hovind has stated: "I love the Jews. [Dprogram.net] Could Vancouver 2010 be the next 9/11? (UPDATED 7:00AM EST 2-17-10 ...: Anyways, a couple of weeks ago I drove down to Vancouver to get my accreditation and uniform.  This was quite a procedure in itself, requiring multiple line-ups, check-ins and processes. At one of these processes, I had to have my picture taken (digitally).  Then the camera/computer operator sends the digital file to the printing station which is around a corner and behind another lineup.  So after standing in line for approximately 10 minutes waiting for my badge/pass to print, the camera/computer operator came running around the corner and told me that there was a strange problem, for some reason the badge wasn’t printing and I had to return to the previous section to wait until things cleared up.  Well, after another 5 minutes of waiting he told me that it had been fixed and I could return to the printing station to collect my badge.  I returned to the line that I had been instructed to stand in (and the one that my pass had supposedly been sent to).  A couple of minutes later and then the print operator from a different line called my name out.  She was very perturbed that I was in the wrong lineup, even though the paper I had clearly indicated that I was in the right lineup and for some reason she had received my pass in err.
